After stirring some emotions VMware has made changes to the vSphere 5 licensing model, the new changes should dissipate the bad rep VMware received for making the unwelcome changes. I can recall conversing with other IT Pros where they expressed interest in competing virtualization platforms because they found the changes to be unfriendly to their operations and budget. It’s always great to see a company take action when customers express disapproval of their actions. Users of the free VMware free Hypervisor will be specially happy after the new changes.
